Khan Bank and XAC Bank's

2.9 percent of Mongolia's 3.3 million citizens are connected to the Internet, and 27 percent of Internet users use e-banking. The banking and financial sector accounts for almost 27 percent. S. Ankhtsetseg and E. Khishig-Undrakh conducted this experiment to find out whether people who did not use these internet banking services understood the websites or how to use them.

Who participated in the experiment?

In this experiment, 11 from the total of 22 participants were first time users of each of the internet banking services.

 

What was the task of the research?

Participants were given four tasks from easy to difficult, and the problems encountered during the tasks were collected and analyzed using biometric and time measurements.

There were four tasks, from easy to difficult:

  •  Make transactions between personal accounts
  •  Make transactions between banks
  •  Use savings account to apply for loans

 

What results were observed during the experiment?

On average, participants completed the above four tasks using Khan Bank's internet banking service in 8 minutes and 26 seconds, and Xac Bank's website in 7 minutes and 13 seconds.
